Two plant ID's?

turmericturmeric Posts: 825
Hello everyone.  Can anyone tell me what these two plants are?  Three of the photos are of the same plant, it look like an allium but has no onion smell and opens to a purple daisy (not a dome) and there's no bulb when you dig it up, just roots.  The second is a yellow flowered shrub.

Also can anyone think of a perennial that looks similar to a foxglove but the flowers are about three times as big, purple and with a more protruding throat?  About 2ft high with foxglove leaves too but darker green.

Thanks.

Penstemon maybe, but the flowers are smaller than foxgloves (mine all are anyway).

The yellow daisy like plant is Euryops.

Can see pics of the not-allium now. I think it's salsify (Tragopogon). There seems to be a lot of it about this year - several other recent threads about them.

Well what do you know. I worked out the foxglove problem, thanks everyone for suggestions but having spent ages on google it turned out to be Rehmannia (chinese foxglove).  Many thanks JennyJ, I googled salsify and you're spot on. And thank you too to Helios for naming the Euryops.  Full house! Bingo!! :)
