Plants
This is growing in the hedgerow along the lane on which we live. Anyone put a name to it?
TIA.
Flower close up.

Wasn't sure that the leaves are correct for Cornus alba.

Cornus alba...leaf matches, flowers match.
Leaves opposite. Veins perfect.
Flowers 4 petals.
Perthshire. SCOTLAND .

It must be the Cornus in our garden which is mislabelled then as the leaves on it are much longer and narrower.
Thanks. Wonder why it is in the hedge row, most of which is native stuff. It is not next to a garden either.

It's a bit of a weed in my garden. Gets in between plants so you can't dig it out. The only thing to do is prune out the shoots . I am very familiar with the leaves😡

Cornus sanguinea would also be a match for Opp leaves/veins.Flowers.
Maybe more common in hedges.
Suckering.
need to check berries.
Cornus alba berry white.
Cornus sanguinea berry black.
Test for Cornus..gently tear a leaf.
It will still be joined by threads in the veins.
