June Drop

It's right on schedule this year..



This is under my plum.  The apple trees haven't dropped yet though.  They were amazing with blossoms this year, told my hubby I hoped they wouldn't all turn into apples because I would have my days filled trying to thin them out.

  • My apple tree has just dropped! sad but nessercery, got 9 fruits on it this year (its a young tree). Probably 50 dropped off

    my apple tree still has flowers on it.. June drop is more July drop round here.

    I would imagine that tree dehydration would worsen June Drop. Is that right?

    I never considered that, but makes sense!  The plant determining how many fruit it can support to maturation.

    I suspect I have historically lost most of my apples on my little tree because I have not watered it enough between March and June.
