@Lyn is right - heathers can cope with sun, but they live on peat bogs. The winter flowering ones are slightly different though.
You'll struggle to keep that Laburnum going in there. I'd agree with @AnniD though - the sooner it's in the garden the better. It'll be difficult to get out of that container in a year's time. It's funny @AnniD - they were a very standard., common tree when I was growing up [we had one in the garden ] but they fell out of favour. I think it's because as soon as people discovered the seed pods were poisonous, everyone immediately panicked. There's a lovely one near me too - it's looking really good just now.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
