I don't know, but if it were on mine, I'd cut the leaf off and have a close look underneath to check for bugs. It may be that the leaf was damaged whilst still very small and the damage is growing with the leaf. Is it just the one leaf?

I wouldn't be concerned about the odd hole in a leaf - it happens. Lower leaves often go yellow as the plant grows and puts its energy into higher leaves - I just cut them off. Just cut off the damaged one and check on the underside. Snails don't seem to mind the hairy leaves too much and I sometimes find trails on leaves in the morning, they're may have had a nibble.
