Is this leafy plant a weed

I cannot identify this plant. It has a slightly furry stem and is invasive. Is it a weed? Will it flower? Should I dig it up? Many thanks from a novice gardener!

    could be japanese anemone , which some folk love, and some others consider and invasive weed,

    Thankyou. I have just looked it up! It is rather pretty when it flowers. I hope it is an anemone.

    They are lovely ... and they jolly well know it ... they think they’re welcome all over the garden ... they have no concept of ‘social distancing’.  Be firm with it 👮‍♀️
