Brown tips on yucca

I have a large yucca which has always been happy apart from a dose of brown spot years ago. This spring the tips of the leaves started to die back, it's now done it on all the leaves except for the crown leaves. Is this just an age thing or something to worry about ? I did strip off the lowest leaves this year which has allowed under planting to do really well.

I don't know what your weather's been like but down here we've had burning days followed by freezing nights, then freezing winds so anything that had leaves out is likely to be affected. We have a small gunnera who's first leaves are shrivelled,  and everything above about a metre on a v.early budding clematis (samaritan jo) was nobbled
