Mystery plant with the disappearing flower!
in Plants
Could anyone please help ID the mystery plant shown below. It is residing in a border at my in laws house. Visible now a shrub has been removed I believe. Nobody can remember it being planted!
Thanks in advance for any help.
The flower appears when in sunlight and disappears (presumably just closes?) when falling into shade. Is this very common?

Does anyone know much about the flower closing when in shade? WE haven't imagined it have we? It was very hot out yesterday!
