    Looks like some sort of Lavatera shrub, they get big. Hard to tell which without the flowers.

    Personally, I dislike them but... Each to their own.  ;)

    Some sort of mallow by the look of it.
    It'll be in flower soon, wait till then and see how much you like it.
    They can be pruned hard and will spring back
    Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
    Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

    I've had to dig it up, it's just went wild within a couple of weeks. I cut it to about half way up my 6ft fence and then all of a sudden its at the top of the fence again! Shame I don't get to see the flowers but I think it would have hit 8foot before they came out
