Stinking hellebore

Where should I cut the flowering stem of this hellebore to please and when is it usually done? Is it worth planting some seeds? Are they fairly easy for a novice like me! Many thanks

    Leave them on until the first frost. The plant will self seed around its skirts.
    Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
    If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.
