Poppies or weeds?? Photo included

Are these poppies or weeds on the right of this photo? Each stem has multiple buds which are producing yellow flowers.

I've been waiting months to find out, but they are yet to flower!

They're certainly not poppies.

🤣 Thanks everyone! I've been dying to dig these up, I thought they looked like weeds. 

Hope they aren't too hard to get rid of!!
