Shasta Daisy

hello, my Shasta daisies are in their second summer but are looking very poorly this year. I can see a small white bug in the back and leaves are turning brown.

HI @thisisdeniseb - they're usually quite trouble free. Have  you got a photo?
Although they are very drought resistant,  might be a bit dry which can invite a few pests, and things like powdery mildew. Poor air circulation can also cause it.
It isn't usually much of a problem.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hi there, they are near a new tree so they are getting plenty of water. I wondered if too much perhaps? Here’s some photos. They also get half sun/half shade and are in a sheltered spot Grateful for any advice.

  • Hi there, it certainly does doesn’t it! Looks like using neem oil spray may help or make your own spray with vegetable oil, washing up liquid and water.  Thank you
