Allotment Polytunnel hoops.

Does anyone know where to source the giant Polytunnel plastic hoops approx 1 meter tall and 1 meter wide? They are for my brassicas up on my allotment. Given up with staking and netting as it can get really windy up there.

You can use blue MDPE water pipe from builders merchants pushed over canes inserted into the ground.  This sort of stuff (other suppliers are available):

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Always plenty for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

just picked up 40+ metres of 40mm for £42
  • What I have done is built a frame out of 3"x2" and drilled 25mm holes to accept the water pipe,  I then used 15mm pipe to stop the blue water pipe collapsing,  that is just stick taped together.  I have used netting but plastic will do just as good a job. If you work or know somebody who works on a building site then you can get all the above materials from there.
