There are lots of insects which appear to rise from the lawn especially in hot weather what can I spray the lawn with without damaging the grass? The bugs have a round body and 4 long legs which and not as easily visible as the body

    I'd leave them for the birds to eat.

    Craneflies, probably. They do no harm as they flit around. Leave them be.
