Please help me ID - pests in raised beds?

If anyone can help me out and confirm what these are I’d be very grateful! It’s my first year growing veg and I’ve found a few of these in my raised beds. Looks like something has hatched from them, and I have googled and can’t seem to work out what they are ☹️

Those are the fruiting bodies of a species of cup fungus and are harmless to plants.  They are actually helping by breaking-down woody matter in the soil/compost into forms plants can use. :)
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thank you so much! No wonder I couldn’t find them on google... I was searching for the wrong thing altogether haha.

The problem with Google @laura.hindley ;)

There's been a couple of queries about them recently. Harmless, as @BobTheGardener says.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
