Help with pruning small azaleas
Hello everyone,
Last September I planted 6 small azalea bushes in my garden brought from my local garden centre. During the spring they flowered and made a very beautiful showpiece in the garden.
I have no previous experience with azaleas, but it seems they must be pruned just after they have flowered to allow for new growth for next year. I'm concerned about pruning them as removing all the flowing heads would leave the bushes without any leaves, which doesn't seem like the right thing to do. They are about 30 cm wide and tall.
Can anyone help, do I cut them back?
Many thanks.

Is there any chance you could post a photo? There's usually enough space between the flowers and the leaves to have leaves left after deadheading.
A photo might help.
