Plant ID for Calendula

Hi! I just discovered this rare beauty in my pot. It looks like instead of setting seed the calendula flower has grown 5 new flower heads that are about to open. I had this one for 2 years in that pot now together with another plant. Is it a mutation? I would love to find out what that is, it looks so funky!
