Can anyone identify please?

My sister is trying to identify the pink flowered plant in this picture. I do not recognise it but it has distinctive leaves. She is aware of the geranium growing through it.
Thank you for looking.

I can't see enough detail when I zoom in, but think I see the hint of canes, so could it be Rubus odoratus (flowering raspberry)?

Thank you very much @BobTheGardener. I have asked my sis to try and get a close up of the flowers which I will post on here as soon as I get it/them.

Thanks @Ladybird4 - flowers don't look like rubus.  It's not one I know.  The flowers seem to have a hint of the mallow family but not sure that helps.

Thank you for your advice and observations @BobTheGardener. I will keep trying. The leaves are quite fig-like so I might have a look at that family. I need a Field Guide!

@BobTheGardener The fact that the the flower looked so much like a geranium helped me to track it down. It is Geranium nodosum.

I agree Ladybird, Geranium nodosum, grows in shade and self seeds around but is no problem.

Well done, I'm not great on hardy geraniums. :)
