Identifying rose

Hello, we've just moved house and have acquired a very overgrown, neglected garden that we want to bring back to its former glory. It has a stunning rose bush with pink, fragrant flowers. I want to learn how to care for it. I understand I need to first identify it. Can anyone help?

I don't know your rose at all, perhaps someone else does, but don't discount the possibility that somebody grew that from a seed, or that it was a chance seedling... it has a wildish look about it that doesn't make it especially commercial, although it's actually very nice...   seedling roses often default to a semi-single pink.. so could be something like that...
Sorry I can't be more help...

Looks a bit like a rose called ‘Vanity’

..yes that's as good a guess as any, it does have the Pemberton hybrid musk look about it... the hip is similar too..   see if your rose throws out big long arching canes late in the season, with a mass of blooms on them.. very late in the year.. Oct/Nov time.. it's one of the few roses that does that..
