Oriental poppies not flowering

Hello gardeners.  My oriental poppies have lots of leaves but no flowers coming through this ýear. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

    Possibly the soil is too rich ? Have they flowered in previous years?  If so possibly they're just late.

    Are the buds there yet? I’ve got 2 plants, one has 3 flowers so far, in the sun, the other in the shade has only buds will be a awhile yet for that one.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Yes, all is well. They have flowered. Sorry for the delay in coming back. Computer glitch.
