What plant is this?

Hi All, anybody know what this plant is behind my gold shower tree?, I suspect it's something thats come from a bird seed mix and its not something I've planted. Would like to know what it is before disposing of it

    Well it's looking vaguely lily like. Are the leaves soft or really tough like a sedge?

    they are a bit sedge like, might wait till it flowers before ripping it out. Thanks for taking a look.
