Grow bag soil

Getting grow bags which I put soil in pots for tomotos 
can I use grow bag soil for herbs and salad and lettuce leaves or is multi compost better

I chuck anything into grow bag compost, it's the cheapest way of getting compost round here other than going to the tip with a trailer. I also put rosemary into it but I mix it around 70/30 with sand for rosemary.

I use grow bag soil for my summer pots and baskets.  It’s plenty good enough for a few months and I also feed them weekly.

He was, sadly died last July at the ripe old age of 21yrs and 9mths.  😢

Do we know each other from another forum ?
