    That’s what it looks like to me too. A deep rooted invasive weed. Dig it out while you have the chance and before it spreads everywhere. Don’t let it seed.

    I keep digging it out and it keeps coming back. I was hoping it was comfrey, at least that has a use !!

    It’s very tenacious. At our last place the house opposite had it all over the front garden. I lived in dread of the day it learnt to cross the road ... 😉

    You can use it in pretty much the same way as comfrey:

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
