Evergreen 4 in 1

Hi I’m looking for some advice / reassurance, used evergreen 4in 1 and obviously over did it as not just the weeds have gone black , main concern though is the smell !! Our garden stinks , a bit like a seaweed smell.
now concerned about when we can let the kids and dog use the lawn ? And anyone else had the smell issue ?

    It's just the seaweed, which is the feed bit of the product :)
    Fine to use once dry. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    They recommend watering it in well if you have pets.

    Yes - I should have said that - it's vital to water in if you don't have rain forecast  :)

    thank you guys , I’ve watered it a couple of times since using 48hours a go but think I will give it another soaking before letting the kids/dog on it 👍

    Hi everyone, I have had the same issue I put this down a little heavy handed a few weeks ago, the smell seems to have gone. However I’m left with large patches of dried out brown/black grass. I have been watering thoroughly for weeks however no joy. I really don’t want to have to lay new turf I’m hoping by taking out the old stuff and over seeding this autumn may bring it back for next year? Any tips/ advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
