Unhappy Magnolia Grandiflora

Hi, I am a novice gardener. I’ve inherited this gorgeous tree, but it doesn’t seem happy. I’ve searched the net , and the nearest potential culprit I could find Was the rhododendron bug, but not sure it can cross species. Please could you take a look at the pictures and offer solutions .
