Hi folks I have a plant that is growing really quickly and spreading.  I have geums and hardy geraniums in the same area.  The growth is soft and smells a bit like eucalyptus.  Any ideas what it might be.

    Looks like a geum to me, but could be Geum urbanum (wood avens) which you definitely don't want in the mix.  I'm 95% certain it's that but you should probably wait until you see the first flower and if it is small and yellow, it's the weedy one and needs to come out.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Defiantly geum urbanum, get rid I weeded thousands of these out of a garden last week, spread like wildfire if let self seed

    Thanks folks, did see a little yellow flower a while ago and thought it was a buttercup.  I'll get on it tomorrow and weed out the lot.
