Help what’s happened to my cornus?

Over the last 2 days my cornus has started to look like its dying when it was a very healthy plant. Any advice on what it is and how I save plse. I’ve nurtured from a small plant for 5 years :( thanks

Hopefully someone will let you know which Dogwood this is but it’s most likely suffering from
lack of space for its roots and also lack of water.

They really need to be planted into the ground. Preferably somewhere with semi shade with a thick layer of mulch. Keep it out of the sun if it’s stressed. They need a bit of time to recover.

Thanks - I repotted earlier in the year and has been fine and well watered too. do you think I should try and plant in the ground and see how it goes? I don't know which type it is sadly. I hoped it was one of the flowering varieties however not sure.

I'd agree. It's clearly very unhappy in that wee pot.
I don't recognise it, but they aren't pot specimens.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Have you had high winds in the last few days? If so it could be the drying effect of high winds. If that could be the cause, stick it somewhere sheltered and give it a good soak.
