Blue-tits
1 when do fledglings normally leave the nest
2 does the cock bird share the nest on cold nights with the hen
3 why does the cock bird repeatedly fly aprox 1mt between one of our palm trees and the shed window. He does this activity continually for two or three minutes at various times during the day
Thanks for any answers you may have

I don't know the answers to your questions, but you may get some success if you try the following ;-

2. I don't think so - I haven't ever seen this in my nest box
3. No idea, sorry! Here sometimes they see their reflection in the window and go to investigate. They also used come to the windows to eat the insects which are round the edges - before we had a regular window cleaner. Sometimes we were woken in the morning by the blue tit tapping on the glass, which was quite alarming before we worked out what it was!
Only the female stays in the nest overnight (I have a nest box camera)
When birds fly at windows, it's always due to reflection. He's either fighting it, or trying to pair with it!
