Peach Tree loses leaves

This year my 11 year old peach tree has had the most blossom it has ever had. Now I can  see no trace of potential fruit. Last week when the weather was hot I noticed the tree had lost about a quarter of its leaves. This cold and windy week it has lost about half its total leaves. The leaves are green and look healthy. Any suggestions please?
