Does rudbeckia look like tomato plants??

I sowed a free packet of rudbeckia I received on my gardeners world magazine a few weeks ago and they are growing well but look and smell suspiciously like tomato plants! Do rudbeckia look like tomato plants or have I received a dud packet?

Mine don't look a bit like tomato plants so sounds as if yours might be wrong!

I’ve sown loads of rudbeckia seeds from gardeners world this year and they have all grown up looking and smelling like tomato plants - just like someone posted above in 2020.

They weren't Rudbeckias then @bell.h. Was that a free pack of seeds or something you bought?

Yes - free from gardeners world. I didn’t want tomato plants but now I’ve got loads. Complete waste of my time!
