Hi everyone. I sowed a patch of wildflower seed at the beginning of lockdown and it looks to be doin fine. I sowed a narrower patch about 10 days ago and I've noticed that the saplings are very clustered together. What are my options???

Thin them out so that individuals are three to four inches apart. Depending on what they are and how they grow, you may need to thin again. Some things like cornflowers can be close together, whereas foxgloves will need to be at least a foot apart.

They're just shooting through the soil a few millimetres at the moment. Probably too early to thin them out yet but I will do in a few weeks. Thanks for your help as I'm a complete beginner.
