I bought this today from a garden centre but it unfortunately didn't have any details with it about what it is or how to care for it. It's flowers are small pink and white and very fragrant. The leaves a re a dark red. Thanks 😊

It's a Sambucus, a variety of Elderberry.  There are several different ones with dark leaves and pink flowers so I'm not sure of the exact ID... very pretty anyway.  Hopefully you have a garden because it's a vigorous shrub which needs to be planted in the ground.   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Ours throws out about 2 metres or more growth each year, so give it as much space as possible, although you can prune them hard every year.

Perfect thank you. I do have a garden and a good sized space for it. Is there anything special I need to do for it to grow?
