Amelancier robin hill

CopperdogCopperdog Posts: 519
I have this tree and it’s been planted around 3 years. We had beautiful blossom earlier in the year but no berry’s now. It’s as tho the berries haven’t developed post flower. Some of the leaves are a little crispy round the edges. Do you think it’s just the hot weather? It’s planted in clay so it’s pretty dry although I have it a good drink with the hose last night. Thankyou

I hardly ever see the berries on my amelanchier because the blackbirds and wood pigeons eat them as quickly as they can.

We do have quite a few pigeons here so perhaps they have pinched them! 😂 thanks @Ladybird4

Maybe too early to get the berries.
Be patient...common name is June Berry.

I was thinking of posting the same query!
Mine is the same variety, same age and it had lovely blossom but it failed to form any berries at all this year and only a few last year which didn't really reach full size.
