What kind of tree is this?

This tee is ta the bottom of my allotment, any idea what it is?

Also any tips on how best to get rid of it?

    It's a bit too far to know for sure, but I suspect it may be some type of Willow. You may need to dig down very deep to get all of the roots out.

    Difficult to see from the photo but looks like long narrow leaves so possibly a type of willow.  A Mattock would be my first choice of weapon as well as a strong fork.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
