I've had this plant in the garden for a couple of years, but only today noticed its pleasant scent (when in flower, of course). Anyone else noticed this scent?
I seem to remember reading something Beth Chatto wrote about a scented tellima. It suggests that they aren't normally scented. Maybe you have a plant of the scented type @Papi Jo? I haven't noticed a scent from my plants but will check, if it's stopped raining tomorrow.

The scent is said to resemble that of old-fashioned pinks, and scents the air.
Maybe this one? https://www.bethchatto.co.uk/conditions/plants-for-shade-conditions/tellima-grandiflora-odorata-group.htm
