Aka Dame's Violet or Sweet Rocket. Sweetly scented in the evening.

Thank you, but definitely not. Only about 12" to 18" tall - straight erect stems. But thanks for suggestion.

A view of the vertical plant with foliage, allowing us to see the growth habit would be more likely to get a correct ID.
Height achieved by Hesperis matronalis depends a lot upon growing conditions.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
