Cheers,

Dan

That's a fine specimen. And growing out of tarmac!

They divide pretty well and you might just still have time to do it, how long has it been there?

no idea - its the village hall car park - so probably public - what do i do pull i up and replant? Try to catch the seeds from flowers? Whats the best plan?

If it is in tarmac then it will not survive you trying to pull it out.
It is a very common Helleborus..you should be able to buy one/get gifted one once lockdown is over.
Or wait for seed pods and collect the seeds.
It is a very fine example.
Helleborus foetidus Wester flisk is one you may like to try and get.

I had them in a previous garden where they self-seeded quite well.If I were you I'd wait for the seed pods to ripen and then cut a couple off.

Do you know who actually maintains the car park? (we have a local caretaker). Perhaps have a word so (s)he knows not to 'tidy' it up before you've had a chance to collect the seed heads.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
