Need help identifying a plant in my garden

Hi all

I have this plant growing freely in front of an aquilegia. It is also growing in other places in my garden. I am not even sure if it's a weed or not. Any suggestions what it is?

    It's a hollyhock, or at least another in the Malva family.  Classic 'cottage garden' flower. :)

    Is it invasive? Seems to dominate in places.

    It self-seeds freely so you can pull them up from where you don't want them.  It should be sending-up a flowering spike soon, so I'd wait to see whether you like them or not.
