4 in 1 Moss Killer by accident ... help!!

Hi All,
We recently moved some of our borders back from quadrant shape to square (back and left of lawn) which in turn left some grass-less parts of our lawn! We seeded one part (left) and it started to grow back lovely but then I made a massive mistake ...
I bought some more 'seed' and started spreading on the second area and the rest of our lawn before realising is was a 4 in 1 moss killer product! Very Stupid i know for buying the wrong item and for not reading the box but I had put a shed loads down before I noticed!
So we are 2 weeks on, I've just raked some moss as we did in fact have moss on the old lawn but I'm worried I've ruined the grass forever!?
Can anyone advise on next steps, I want to re seed but dont know how to go about it after using the moss killer!?!

I would scarify to remove that thatch and expose bare soil under the dead areas, then re-seed.  Any remaining moss killer won't stop the seed from germinating, but the seeds do need to be in contact with soil.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Welcome to the forum :)
I think you're supposed to wait around 4 weeks before overseeding after using 4 in 1 . Have a read on the box (!). Don't worry, we've all made mistakes  :)
  • Thank you both! If we rake over the whole thing and wait at least 4 weeks and try re-seeding hopefully this should would??
