Plant%Tree Identification

Please can someone help out a complete novice (or whatever comes before a novice) and let me know what the following plants/trees are (or indeed if they are just weeds)? I have tried to number the images but my phone isn't playing ball. If you could number them in the order they appear when replying, that would be very helpful! Thank you in advance.

I'm afraid you may need to photograph the leaves more closely. Some trees/shrubs are hard to ID from a distance. The potted plants in the grey/green pots look like Willowherbs. A weed really. The spiky leaf plant is a Cordyline Australis 'Purpurea'.

I zoomed in on the tree in photo#2 and can see yellow magnolia flowers so suspect that one may be Magnolia denudata 'Yellow River' but there are several other yellow magnolia cultivars available.
For photo#1, try crushing a few leaves between your fingers and giving them a sniff.  If they smell of lemon it may be Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), or it could be a type of mint.  Both are invasive and best left in containers if you want to keep them.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

I think the first one might be mint ?

Thank you, @Borderline and @BobTheGardener. Sorry, a schoolboy mistake with the images already! I will get some better photos on here, thank you in the meantime for the ones you've spotted.

@AnniD, I think you're right about number 1 as it does have a slight minty smell. Thank you.
