Favourite scented climbers

What are your favourite scented climbers for a trellis and/or archway?

Bonus points for attractive flowers, and even better if the flowers last a long time.

I have jasmine and honeysuckle on trellis and clematis Montana on a dead tree, they all smell gorgeous.  But the clematis flowers all at once and then the show is over until next year.  The jasmine flowers whenever it likes, even in late winter.

Sweet peas for me too. I have quite a poor sense of smell, so many things pass me by.
I don't like roses, so don't grow them, but I have a couple of clematis which have a faint scent too.
Jasmine isn't hardy here, so can't grow that.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Just got a clematis from Floydsclimber.co.uk . Sugar sweet. Up the 3ft. Really strong perfume. Pale lavender ,smallish flowers. April till June it says. Valerie

I'd go for a climbing rose like DA 'Claire Austin'.
North East Somerset - Clay soil over limestone
  • Sorry, clematis 3 m. Valerie
