Russian vine

I had a very strong Russian vine growing over by pergola. However this spring it seems to be dead.

does anyone now what has killed it? The winter was only very wet. Thank

  • Russian vine isn't something that is normally cherished by the majority of gardeners!   Can i ask a question in fear of getting my head chopped off!!

    Are you sure you're not misnaming something?   Do you have a photograph of it taken before it died, last year?

    I used to have some Russian vine come over my fence from my neighbour's and always thought it very pretty. Then, the enormous ash tree on our boundary had to be cut down due to heart rot. It wasn't long before I was less enamored with it. My neighbour did get rid of it upon request but I couldn't tell you how. I believe he got someone in to do it who was presumably pretty ruthless. All I care about is it's gone!

    you are definitely better off without it. Horrible pest
