Camellia issue

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what might be wrong with a Camellia plant in my moms garden, i got my sister to take some photos,  they said that it looks like all the new growth is dying.
Any help much appreciated.

I can see a bit of damage to a few young leaves, but that may just be due to the sudden early warm weather that has helped to make the shrub grow very quickly in a short space of time. New leaves are vulnerable to harsh winds and sensitive to cold night temperatures. Many of those leaves will settle down and mature to a green colour. Any damaged leaves could be pruned out.

I'll tell mom to prune out the damaged leaves and leave the rest to hopefully green up.
