I got this small plant from Dobbies labelled 'foliage mix' and I can't work out what the plant is. It has pale petioles and 3 lobed leaflets, it looks like a type of tree. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks all, Shefflera/Pleranda elegantissima looks like the right one to me. Unfortunately the plant died last winter, reading up on it now it looks like it might have been too cold in my house.

Sorry to bang on but... It is nothing nothing like Schefflera elegantissima!
Your leaves are round in outline...more like below. While Schefflera elegantissima...is like the a star fish...a central point with several arms coming from the middle...in a very pointed zig zag!
