The important thing is to get them in pots with drainage, and a tray of some kind underneath. You can't grow them otherwise.  :/
Tomato food is ideal, or the granular feeds for any flowering plant.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Ah ok so I've got a bit of time to shop around for fertiliser but really need to be sorting those pots as soon as possible! I'll have to ask around where I can get them from with everything being closed, dont have a drill to make holes myself sadly :(

If you don’t have a pot, almost any plastic container you can make holes in the bottom of would work for now. A clean butter tub, half a milk bottle, an ice cream container...and then place that in the existing pots as a tray so water doesn’t run over your windowsill. Good luck!
  • Yeah that's true, I didnt think of that! Have to see what's not gone out to recycling and see what I can make, only I dont have a drill or anything so we'll have to see how it goes haha

You don't need a drill - scissors, screwdrivers - anything can be used to make holes.
If you drink milk - the big containers are ideal - just cut down.
