Identify?

aidanhoadaidanhoad Posts: 174
Hi all,

Can anyone identify the attached picture of a plant for me please?

I had previously thought it was a crocus, but I am a little unsure now as it is only just coming in to flower and the flowers themselves don’t seem to be the right shape/colour?

Thank you in advance!

Could well be you know, looking at them again... the actual flowers seem very small and ‘single headed’ rather than lots of pretty flowers as with any ordinary bluebell... also, they are pink? It’s all rather odd because last year I am absolutely convinced that they were crocuses... I must be going mad?!

With wide leaves they look to be Hyacinth hispanica..the Spanish bluebell.
Flowers can be blue, pink or white.
Rather than the native UK  scented bluebell......Hyacinthoides non-scripta
    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .
