Plant id please, worried start of knotweed

Hi I'm new to gardening and planted a lot of new things over past couple of years, some stuff I've had more success than others. I'm not sure if this is just something coming back now its spring, but from a bit of searching online I'm not worried it looks a little like Japanese knotweed?!  Thanks in advance!

    Knot sure what it is, but it's knot knotweed :) It might possibly be Lysimachia, yellow loosestrife.

    I don't think it is...and I do have some of the dreaded knotweed in mine. Maybe sent us a photo when the first couple of leaves have opened to be certain.

    Thanks so much for replying! I think now you say it may just be Lysimachia! I do remember planting that (although I'd forgotten its name) around that spot but thought it had died long ago. And as I say I'm so new to this gardening thing. Thanks again for putting my mind at rest too 🙂
