Leaf curl on almond.

Hi, I have an almond, been in 2 years and about 6 foot, it's got pretty nasty peach leaf curl. It's in a it of a damp spot and I don't want to make a tent over it for six months. Any ideas?  Cut back? Strip infected leaves (about 70 percent)  Get rid and try again?

    If it was giving you fruit I would say erect a veranda over it. But apart from that, 
    peach leaf curl is something I could not spray away. Maybe someone will see your post and give you a better idea of what you can do. The rain brings the virus with it and I sometimes think the wind also. Valerie
