Eccremocarpus scaber

I’ve five eccremocarpus scaber plugs that are growing well. I want to plant them in good sized containers to climb up a trellis. Will they be ok like this? I’ve grown cobaea in them in previous years successfully.  Will I need more than one per pot?  I could put one to run up a yew hedge, but don’t want to overwhelm the tropaeolum.  Will they grow up a wall with a few wires?

I kept one going for several years. In the ground but with the shelter of overhanging roses. All grown up a trellis. They are not overly hardy. I'm  in the south east so fairly mild usually. good luck.
