Weed or not

Jason-3Jason-3 Posts: 391
Hi I have quite a few unknown plants/weed pop up in a semi shaded border. The border has all sorts of annuals and bi annual scattered in the soil over the past few years. But I don't recognise this plant. When it initially started growing I thought it was a nettle, however it definitely isn't that. It also thought initially of annual verbana or even stock as they have been in that border. I'm not certain though. A few pics below

It's Stachys  sylvatica or Hedge Woundwort. Pretty purple flowers but the whole plant has a nasty smell in my opinion.
